From impactist, the people who brought us Leo’s Song, comes the multi-dimensional love song of Parallelostory.
I saw a production of Maskerade last night. Terry Pratchett’s books do make great plays!
It therefore seemed appropriate to post these photos of the Discworld in Lego, from captainsmog’s flickr site.

Life is like a box of crayons. Most people are the 8-color boxes, but what you’re really looking for are the 64-color boxes with the sharpeners on the back.
I fancy myself to be a 64-color box, though I’ve got a few missing. It’s ok though, because I’ve got some more vibrant colors like periwinkle at my disposal.
I have a bit of a problem though in that I can only meet the 8-color boxes. Does anyone else have that problem? I mean there are so many different colors of life, of feeling, of articulation.
So when I meet someone who’s an 8-color type, I’m like, “Hey girl, magenta!” and she’s like, “Oh, you mean purple!” and she goes off on her purple thing, and I’m like, “No – I want magenta!”

My holiday is over now and I’m flying back to Australia today. I had a wonderful time and saw some awesome places. It turns out I love ruins and museums so Palmyra and Jerash were my two favorite places. The Dead Sea was fun and I travelled with some really nice people.
I can’t wait to go travelling again!
Black Heels To Tractor Wheels is Ree Drummond’s story of how a city girl fell in love with a cattle farmer.
Here’s the complete saga (to date) of the rip-roaring true story of how I met my husband, Marlboro Man, and how I went from spoiled city girl to domestic ranch wife in the blink of an eye.
Started in September 2007, these entries were intended to be a short memoir of their courtship for their eleventh wedding anniversary, but quickly become a long and very entertaining story with plenty of ups and downs. Currently the story ends with a four part account of Ree and Marlboro Man’s wedding day. I’m hoping Ree will continue with entertaining tales of their honeymoon (in Australia!) and the early days of their marriage.
Here’s the first installment: The Night I Met Marlboro Man
The complete index for the saga is here. (Start at the bottom and work your way up.)
